Survey Manager (Auckland base)

Civil Solutionz are one of New Zealand’s principle construction land surveying firms. We have four offices throughout New Zealand

Due to continued growth within the Company servicing construction clients, we are looking to appoint a senior surveyor, based in our Auckland office.

The role:

• Supervise field crews and support staff
• Price and Schedule work
• Lease with key clients
• Construction Set-out with all necessary office calculations
• As-built preparation
• Completion of survey field work and associated office computations to produce detailed topographical plans;
• Ensure all necessary checklists for both office and site work are completed against compliance requirements;
• Broad range of project work from Motorways, buildings, subdivisions and monitoring projects.
• Minor design work.

​You:

• Qualified or Experienced in Construction Surveying or equivalent
• A good general knowledge of construction practice in New Zealand
• Be an experienced user in either Civil3d or 12d
• Be familiar with modern Survey field equipment, GPS, Robotic total stations and digital levels. (Trimble)
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills coupled with a flair for innovation.
• Embrace a strong Health and Safety policy
• Fit into a focused team environment
• Desire to work for one of New Zealand’s most progressive Civil Surveying Businesses.
• Experience in UAV’s and machine control is not essential but would be an advantage
